Your Ceremony, Your Way

I believe everyone should be able to celebrate the start of their married life in a way that’s meaningful to them—using the words, tone, and setting that reflect you as a couple.

Whether you picture something romantic and heartfelt, fun and theatrical, or a beautiful mix of both, I’m here for it.

I love creating relaxed, playful ceremonies with just the right dash of theatre. Every ceremony I write is built from scratch, using your story, ideas, and voice. Together, we can include readings, songs, surprise moments (yes, even flash mobs!), dogs in bow ties—whatever feels right for you.

We’ll Build It Together

You might have a crystal-clear vision, or you might not be sure where to start. Either way, I’ll guide you through the process, offering ideas and advice along the way.

The ceremony script can be tweaked and fine-tuned until it’s just right—no rushing, no pressure. My job is to make sure you feel completely comfortable and excited about what we create together.

It’s really important that I’m the right fit for you and your vision for your celebration. That’s why the first step is a relaxed chat—by phone, video call or in person, whichever suits you best.

Book me

If you decide to go ahead, I'll send you a booking form which will be our agreement in writing. A non refundable deposit will be required at this point to secure the date.

If your venue is more than 20 miles away from Rugby, we can discuss travel costs- no surprises!

Planning

Once you’re booked in, I’ll be on hand with lots of tips, ideas and support. Whether it’s choosing readings, writing vows, picking the right words for a ring exchange—or adding something completely unique to reflect your heritage or personality—I’m here to help. I love a new challenge, so if there’s something important to you, I’d love to hear about it.

Writing

Three months ahead of your wedding, I'll get back in contact to begin preparations in earnest. To help me shape your ceremony, I'll send you a questionnaire to gather information on the ceremony itself, but the majority of the time will be spent on you. Your story, your vision for your ceremony and your reasons for your very special day.

Rehearse

A rehearsal is totally optional. Some couples like to meet beforehand to go through the key parts of the day—especially if the venue allows for it. If a full run-through isn’t possible, we can still meet up or chat so you know exactly what to expect and can fully relax.

Your Wedding

On the day itself, I’ll arrive in plenty of time to make sure everything’s ready. I’ll check in with the venue team, photographer, musicians, readers—whoever needs to know what’s what—so that your ceremony runs smoothly.
